Welcome to Year 3!

Year 3 is an exciting year - the first year in Key Stage 2! We make sure that the children transition from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 2 easily with lots of familiar things to build confidence. For the first term the children will have an afternoon break and we gradually reduce this so that the children become used to the Key Stage 2 timings. We learn lots of interesting things in Year 3!

Year 3 Learning Overviews

Each half-term we publish the Learning Overviews for Year 3. These summarise our learning for the term and include information about English, maths, science, geography or history, computing, PE, RE, PSHE, art or DT, music and MFL. Please note, that due to the nature of our planning cycles, some subjects are not taught every half term.
