Phonics Support for parents

AS a school we are now using Letters and Sounds revised to teach phonics, which we refer to as Little Wandle. Below are a number of resources which can help you support your child with phonics at home.

The videos on the left show you how to pronounce the sounds. Notice how the children don’t add an ‘uh’ sound at the end, so they say: ‘t’ not ‘tuh’. Use the downloadable information to help your child remember how to write their letters and say their sounds.

The information on the right is there to inform you about how we teach the sounds and other skills in school. WE appreciate your support in continuing this approach at home.
